Top 100 men country breakdown

Postby Forehand_lob on Wed Mar 14, 2012 11:36 am

The talk about the death of American men in tennis has been going on for quite some time now. I decided to look at the top 100 men by country and see how things looked.

Spain - 12
France - 10
US - 8
Germany - 7
Argentina, Italy - 6 each
Russia - 5
Croatia - 4
Serbia, Czech Republic, Belgium - 3 each
Switzerland, Japan, Australia, Ukraine, Brazil, Columbia, Slovakia, Portugal, Romania - 2 each
Great Britain, Austria, Canada, South Africa, Finland, Cyprus, Uzbekistan, Poland, Netherlands, Sweden, Taiwan, Israel, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Latvia - 1 each

As a good sign for America's tennis future, it has the highest percentage of its top 100 players under 25. Not sure if they're going to be world beaters, but they have time to grow into their games and get better.
