ATP launched new ad campaign

I personally liked the artwork on all the posters. I hope they put out T-shirts/posters for sale.

I like all the horses, lions, and dragons. The artwork looks nice.

Mythical figures

Postby Raphael on Fri Nov 02, 2007 10:28 pm

Mythical figures, taking my attention to the above ^^ "dragon" reference, makes me think of the supernatural warrior-slayer quality that tennis players who play pro tennis sometimes elicit.

The racquet becomes a sword, swatting and slashing at the evil beast.

The ball becomes a projectile, blasting towards the diabolical serpent with fury and flames.

And, finally when the champion falls to the ground and kisses the court, he figuratively gives thank to the earth spirits for embolding him on his knightlike quest to slay the demon.

And sometimes you even see the champion walk away with the faerie princess.

I totally agree - this artwork is awesome. Rafa with the raging bulls is my favorite. I actually wrote a blog about this same subject just yesterday... anyway, I hope it brings more fans to teh ATP - that's the goal right?
